Hey, y'all welcome to blessed to be as I'm your cousin, and Christ. 112 A bit. And this is bougie Bible studies. If you are new here, I'd like to welcome you to the number one Bible study class that you will ever come across. If you are not new here. You already know how we get down as we dive into the Bible and read a chapter a week for all of you that is new here, we dive into the Bible, and get an understanding of the stories, see what God is trying to talk to us about, because he talked to us all individually. And the Bible is just so important. They come in many different languages. And it's just been around for centuries on top of centuries. And you guys already know like it's preached all over the world is very important to know the words of the Bible and to be able to recite scriptures over your life. Not only that, but to live by Scripture. And to just have that one on one relationship with God is just super important. It is highly recommended for anybody that wants to live and enjoy an everyday life where they can just embrace who they are, learn who they are get to know themselves all along while getting to learn the higher creator, and one awesome in charge of us all, which is the mighty Lord Himself. If you are new here, what I like to do is I like to go into the stories of the Bible, I have a tracker Bible here that's helping me go through the Bible, and just really, you know, understand the stories, one chapter at a time. I am not a preacher, I am not somebody who prophesied over other people. I'm really just a believer, and I walk by faith and not by sight. So what I do here is solely for my understanding, but I created this podcast to also share the Word of God and just share my experiences on what I've been going through and how I managed to operate and live an enjoyable life every day. So this podcast was designed for me to express myself and be able to talk about some of the things that I don't talk about what other people and just really, you know, connect with myself and get into the Bible, because it's just really important. You can go to church, and you can have people pray for you. But it is something different when you actually pick up the Bible and have that one on one time with God. And so I just welcome you to the best Bible study class that you guys will ever come across. Welcome one welcome all, it doesn't matter what background you're from you can be from any religion or background you choose to. We solely like to just get a relationship with the Creator on this platform and just have that relationship and our life with the Holy Spirit with Jesus Christ who died first. And as well as the higher one who sent him, okay, which is the one who sit in the middle of the galaxy. But let me not bore you with all this chitter chatter today's class, we will be in Luke chapter 15. And today's title of our episode is three stories about God's love. Now, I did do Luke 15, in week seven. So if you will go back to episode seven, then you wouldn't get an understanding and and get the story that I read it before. But that was like seven weeks when I had just started reading the Bible and start going through my tracker of the Bible. So I was fairly new on reading the Bible, like out loud, which is on his podcast. And the understanding that I had back then has gradually grew and it has progressed into more understanding of knowing how God is just talking to me. So I'm really happy to read Luke chapter 15. Again, I really enjoy the stories of the Bible. It just, it makes me happy to to know like in those times back, back, back, back way back then, how important is just your faith? This is like how important what you believe in, really can help you, you know, live that life that you need to live. So grab your Bibles, you can read out of any version you choose to read out of, I read out of the NIV version, because again, I have a Bible here that has a tracker for me. And I get to check out my boxes that when I get to read certain things, so if you don't know we are literally in class 46. So we are in Episode 46. And we've been doing this for some time. So again, if you want to hear this story, and you want to just go back and hear me read it, the first time was in week seven, which is episode seven. But as you can see, we are now in Episode 46. So yes, this is very important for me to go ahead and read it. And so if you ready, go ahead and grab your Bibles, you can read out of any version, I said that but you can also just listen, you know, listen along, or just just join us, okay, come one come all, we are all related to price. And if you already I am to take your notes and do whatever you got to do. But let's go to the title of our episode, three stories about God's love. Luke, chapter 15, starts like this, the parables of the loss sheet. Now the tax collectors and sinners, we're all gathered around to hear Jesus, but the Pharisees and the teachers of the law letter, this man welcome in with him. Then Jesus told them this parable. Suppose one of you has 100 sheep and loses one of them, doesn't he leave the 99 in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it. And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friend and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me, I have found my lost sheep. I tell you that in a same way, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents and over 99 righteous persons who do not need to repent. The parable of the lost coin are suppose a woman has to 10 silver coins and loses one doesn't she light a lamp sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it. And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says Rejoice with me. I have found my last coin. In the same way I tell you there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents the parable of the lost son, Jesus continued, There was a man who had two sons. The younger one says to his father, Father gave me my share of the estate. So he divided his property between them. Not long after that the younger son got together all he had set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth and wow, living after he has spent everything. There was a severe famine in the whole country and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. When he came to his senses, he said, How many of my father's hired servants have food to spare and here I am starving to death. I will set out and go back to my father and say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son make me like one of your higher servants. So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him. He ranted his son threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his servant quick, bringing the best rope and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fang cat and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found so they began to celebrate. Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked him what is going on If your brother has come, he replied, and your father has killed the fatted calf because he has him back safe and sound. The older brother became angry and refused to go and so his father went out and pleaded with him, but he asked his father, look, all these years I've been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders yet you never gave me even a young girl so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes come home, you kill the fatted calf for him. My son the father said, You are always with me and everything I have is yours. But we have to celebrate and be glad because the brother of yours was dead and is alive again. He was lost, and now is found. And that's the end of our chapter your sub will go on into our guided tour. master storyteller, Jesus conveys deep truth in gripping stories. Luke 15 Verse 32, this brother of yours was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found using simple homespun images. Jesus Express profound truth in a way that holds his audience captive. His parables concise short stories have won high praise even from literary experts who do not accept their spiritual message. Some of the most famous of these parables appears only in Luke's gospel. The three stories in chapter 15 stir up feelings for the loss and for the loser, a shepherd scours the hillside in a frantic search for a missing sheep. A woman turns her house upside down over a loss silver coin, a runaway son thumbed his nose at a life of comfort and ends up half starved in the pigpen. And a few brief sentences Jesus parables took as villains of loss and remorse that lie buried just beneath the surface, and all of us happy endings. Yet all three parables in the same spectacular good news flood and to replace the sadness and party and breaks out all the parables points of the limitless love of God for those in real need. God stands ready to forgive all those who cry out to Him. The parables of the lost son actually tells the story of two sons. One irresponsible, the other hard working one way says his life and comes home humbled, the other proudly refuses to celebrate his brother's homecoming, the story ends with one son inside and join a joyful family celebration, his brother lingers outside bitterly unwilling to forget, which is really lost life question, when did you lose something important, and then find it again. So I enjoy the stories because what God did what Jesus did was try to break down how it is just super important for that one person, or that one thing or that one place to be found again, this sheet was found again, it was rejoice for over that the coin. She flipped the house upside down when she found it is rejoice for over that. The son who went out, spent all his money, did nothing and came back to his father was still accepted in rejoice and came back. It reminds mind me of when I lost myself. I lost myself or not even just lost myself. Like I couldn't identify who I was, who I am, or even what I wanted to be. And I remember prior to starting my spiritual journey, like I've always been a believer, yes, of course, I was raised in church, but it doesn't hit you until you are actually lost. Like in the world of loss. And five years ago, I was completely lost. I didn't know like, you know, I didn't know what to do. I didn't know who I was. I didn't know what I wanted. I I was lost. I didn't know me. I didn't know the things that I liked it really. I didn't know what I couldn't stand or where I wanted to be at. I was just lost and the moment that I started my spiritual journey and I felt like God found me even though he like he never lost me. If anything I lost him or her however you want to identify your God but When God found me, right where I was at last, it was a rejoice over my life. I feel like like, I really can't explain from being lost or found. But where I'm at right now, there's nothing like there's nothing that excites me more than to be found by God. Because right where he finds me at is right, where he accepts, accepts me, I lost my faith. I lost a real bad, because you kind of don't want to just go off for what people tell you, Oh, have faith in God, he works it out. Like, it's so easy to hear that, but who truly actually feels and believe that, like, Faith is not something that you can go and get from somebody else. You can't go into a church and grab faith. You can't go into the presence of people with faith and let their faith lingers on you. Like it doesn't work like that the faith that you have in our Creator actually has to come from within you. So coming to the realization of when I found my faith again, if because I found myself right where I was at the right where I lost myself, I found myself right. In God's arms, in his like, he never lost me, but I lost sight of God. Or her. I lost sight of Mother Nature, I lost. I lost sight of what somebody came in different my life like Jesus, I lost sight of, you know, just walking by faith. And this was literally five years ago. I was like, completely depressed and hurt. Just heartbroken. I can say that I was miserable. Because misery likes company. And it seemed like every time that I will be okay, there was like a misery lingering behind me saying like, No, this is not okay. Like, you know, you need to be, you need to feel this. So, yes, I have lost something. And then I found it. Because I lost my faith. I lost my faith to believe not only just in God but myself. I lost believing in myself at one point, I didn't know my worth at one point. And you know, when I say know, your worth and add tax like is such a reward when you find your worth again, and they you started taxing people because you know you worth it. And not taxing people in a way where I'm talking about money, but taxing people where maybe some people are not deserving to be in your presence, or maybe some things are not deserving for you to have because you deserve so much more that could go for anything to like relationships and stuff when when people start falling off of you is because you start to find yourself you start to find where you belong at even at that moment. You notice like you may not belong with certain people or certain places or certain things you know, you kind of feel lost. And I was like that at a point. Like I really lost myself. I lost myself I lost my faith I lost my belief I lost the love that I have. And I'm talking for myself not just just not for people because when you lose things for yourself there is no way that you can help anybody else our be around enough people to get that back. Like in order for me to find myself find my faith find God find Jesus find a new belief find hope. I literally had to find one trail and I had to accept one trail just the way that God did or does and I had to start blocking people blocking society blocking things out that didn't align with how God see me are where he except me because a lot of times people will like I say this all the time people will put their belief their religion their put their Bible on you they will put words that never been in the Bible and they will put them on you oh you can do this God don't like this you you not right. Are shouldn't you be held with me ain't that's what Christians do. Are you can't feel that type of way. Oh, you're a Christian. You you can't be upset. You can't be mad. Like people just start putting their own things on you and that's just not how it works. cuz that's not how it operates like, God would rejoice when you're lost. And you're you find yourself again, God rejoices when one sinner repent, over 99 righteous people who don't even need to repent. Because it's like the 99 righteous people will talk bad about that one senator. And it's just like, you know, like, I had to come to terms to realize that, and I had to pick up this Bible on my own, no matter how many times I go to church, sometimes times I listen to a preacher, or somebody that can really speak the word of God, I still needed to find my comfort in the Word of God, like, I need to find my comfort here in the Bible. So this is why I read the stories. This is why this podcast is so important to me. And I'm so sorry, to all my listeners, and everybody, you know, because I put it out there that I was going to go visual. But I, I don't like just not being me. Right? I don't want to do something, to prove myself to anybody. Like, I don't have to prove myself to anybody, because what my life is between me and God, and however God directs my life, to be and to help whomever I need to be like, God is literally directing my life. So I just continue to pray and stay close to God that I continue to find me in the moments and the days, like every day is to find that person, find that person in me that may need help are, you know, to overcome something so I'm not constantly searching for myself, because I've have found myself and it's an everyday thing that I'm finding myself every day, because every day is to prison something new god has given a daily bread every every day new. So have you ever lost something and then you found it because I truly can say that. I want point out a long point in my life, I lost my faith. I lost my trust in our Creator, I lost that. Because not that I just really had it pick on me. But I've never discovered it. I never found it enough. Until I like started walking his journey and I'm so happy that God found me right where I was at. And I found God right where I was at is like I it was like a reunite night at moment. That reunited moment that just made it. It made sense. To me. It was like, Okay, this, this makes sense. Walk in a life with God every day. It just makes sense. It makes it makes life so easier for me. And it was like, I had to find that I had to find God. And I had to find God within finding me. And so for all of my listeners out there, or wherever you are, across the many states and countries that this podcast go out to. I pray you find yourself and not only that, I pray that you find God within you. That is going to be the reward that No Man, No Woman, No person, what can ever take from you is the best reward of feeling ever and that's the love of God. That's just irreplaceable. It means the world to me to know that God loves me just the way that I am. He accepts accepts me just the way that I am Mother Nature looks out for me just the way that I am. And if I could just accept how God accepts me, finding me will be very easy. Finding what I like will be very easy what I don't like very easy. What's meant for me very easy. So I just encourage you all to find which who last? Because I'm sure it is you and when you find yourself come back and holiday cousin man and tell me how I went and because one thing is Bible gonna do it's gonna break down some some areas and situations to know and show us and and give us that insight we need that. God is always working on our behalf. And the word God is just so vague. It is used in so many shapes and forms but this Bible is the truth. And I thank you all for tuning in today, you guys so don't forget to check us out on social media. And excuse me again for not being visual, but time has come that when is supposed to happen is gonna happen. I really do appreciate all my listeners because I got listeners from all over the state. And next episode I'm going to give you guys a shout out I think it's just very important to just just keep this momentum going and stay consistent in the Bible. Boy, that's just something that I've been having struggled troubles with. But this this, this is a story for the next time, you know. So until next time you guys don't forget to check us out on social media blessed to be asked on Instagram bougie Bible studies on Facebook, you can follow my personal page Legion underscore love, if you choose to have it posted nothing and really, I really want to be active in social but you never know what's gonna happen. I'm just want to ask God to continue to guide me because you just never know what's going to happen. The most important thing is just to get the stories out and, and share with the world how important this Bible is and, and just know like, you know, all these stories literally can help us with our lives today. And I just really hope that you guys are taking these stories and even reading them on your own and just remembering them, you know, and just utilizing them in your everyday life.
