One tro Lovett, and this is bougie Bible studies. If you are new here, I'd like to welcome you to the best Bible study class that you would ever come across. And if you're not new here, you know how we get down over here. For those who are new, we go through the Bible, read a chapter a week, get the backstory, get God to work on our behalf individually, because obviously, what's for me is not what's for you, and just take the stories and really allow the Holy Spirit to give us the message that's needed. Because these stories are still preached today, around all the churches. I mean, the Bible is so vital for our lives, it is the true way the life that we should go. But yet not everybody know how to have a relationship with God. So here I am, being one of his great servants, allowing him to use me so that I can dive into the Bible. So yes, I'd like to welcome you to the best Bible study class that you will ever come across. Now you can read on any version that you choose to I simply read out of the NIV because it makes sense to me. And it was also a gift to me by my pastor that I go ahead and explore this Bible with my listeners and followers. I did want to give you guys a shout out because we have listeners from all over the world. And I'm going to kind of do that at the end of the episode. We have been doing this for 30 weeks. Plus because I also had a podcast before this still talking about God. But this Bible study, we've been doing this for 30 weeks, and this makes week 30. So yeah, today's class, we are in Genesis chapter three. Last week, we were in Genesis chapter one. And we got the backstory on how God created the earth that we are so pleasantly living and today now today we are going into three and this is the origin of sin, basically the fall of what took place and why sin was created today. If you already I am to go ahead and grab your Bibles. Go ahead and get coffee. If you don't have a Bible, don't worry, you can simply just listen and follow along. It's pretty much your choice. There's no judgment over here you could be from any background you choose to be from represent any guy to choose from because God is all in all above and all beyond and all underneath. So he's one he's all of our fathers and so I welcome you I welcome all I am ready, let's get this thing chop in Genesis chapter three, the fall, verse one. Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, Did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden, the woman said to the serpent, We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden. But God does say you must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden and you must not touch it or you will die. You will certainly not die. The serpent said to the woman for god knows that when you eat from it, your eyes will be open and you will be like God knowing good and evil. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye and also desirable for gaining wisdom. She took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were open and they realized they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together and make coverings for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day and they hid from the LORD God among the trees. of the garden, but the Lord God call to the man, where are you? He answered, I heard you in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid. And he said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from? The man said, The woman you put here with me. She gave me some fruit from the tree. And I did. Then the Lord God said to the woman, what is this? Have you done? The woman said, The serpent deceived me and I hate it. So the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals, you will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life, and I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offsprings in hers and he will crush your head and you will strike his heel to the woman he said, I will make your pains and childbearing very severe with painful labor you will give birth to children, Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you to Adam He said, Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you you must not eat from it. Cursed is the ground because of you through painful toil, you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field by the sweat of your brow, you will eat your food until you return to the ground since from it you were taken For dust you are into dust you will return. Adam named his wife Eve because she will become the mother of all the living the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them and the Lord God said the man has now become like one of us knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever. So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken after he drove them in out he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden Chair of him and a flaming swore, flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. And that is the end of our chapter. Okay, so boom, we let's recap and really get an understanding of it. The Fall Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals to glory God had made he said to the woman Did God really say you must not eat from the tree and the garden so hit go the little serpent. He just slid in around being real slick and smooth and sneaky. And he sneaked up on a woman and he was like, Girl Did God really say you hi eat from that tree. And a garden, the woman's like, we can eat fruit from the trees in the garden. But you see that tree right there in the middle. We was commanded not to eat from it, nor should we touch it. Because if we do, we will die. That's what God said the serpent like, Girl, please, you will not die. See, God don't want you to eat from that tree. Because he don't want you to be like him knowing all the things that he know and doing all the things that he do. That woman was like, oh, yeah, is this why he's on? There's nothing here from the tree will look ahead. The tree looked good to me. It looked like the fruit is producing just right. And it looked like ah I need to have me buy so she goes over there to the tree and she takes her fruit and I'm taking it I'm guessing that Adam wasn't paying attention because men never pay attention. She takes the fruit and she's like the fruit is good is juicy is just as good let me go in and get them to my man. Good here maybe try this fruit Adam not looking paying attention because men never pay attention. He eats the fruit too. This is real good. Where'd you get this fruit from? Oh, I got it from the tree in the middle you know the one guy said is not to eat from immediately their eyes are open they noticed that they're naked they can understand really what's going on they no longer living in la la land they is no longer living in fairy world their eyes have been open to both good and evil so of course they noticed that they were naked they probably looking at each other like why you got them titties or what's that thing hanging down there from your body? What is that dangling? He probably looking at her like is that a hairy bush? What is that you know though, they're probably looking at each other body parts like what is it? So then they saw some little fig leaves together and they made them a little tree skirt tree boxers you know stuff that Have them up out of fig trees. Now they hear God coming in the garden. Don't Don't Don't don't walk into the garden and they hide it. God already know what happened because God is all knowing God, but he comes on in the garden. And he like, Um, excuse me, man, where are you? The man is like, I want to hide because I noticed that I was naked and I heard you was coming, you see? And God like how did you know you were naked? And I'm the man like oh the woman that you left here with me the one you took out my red one you planted here with me? You know for company. She gave me some fruit from the tree that she told us not to eat from Yeah, she gave me that. So God like probably looking at him like you just stupid. You just go eat something that the woman gave you asked no questions you ask where she gets it from? You just You just okay got it. Woman while you look what you do. What have you done? The woman like, oh, Lord, that serpent you love here in a garden? Do you know that little sneaky one? The slick one, he deceived me. Yet, he told me that I will have wisdom and that I was not going to die and that I could eat from the tree. He played tricks on me. So God like serpent. Why would you do this because you have done this, I'm going to curse you among all the wild animals. Not only am I going to curse you among all the wild animals, you want to slither on in dust for the rest of your life, you're gonna be rolling and crawling on your belly for the rest of your life. And not only that, I'm gonna put it between you and a woman and it means hostility. I don't know, in great terms of what that actually mean because I don't really have a fear of snakes. But but he said you will crawl on your belly and you will eat us all the days of your life to the surface. And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offsprings and her and he will crush your head and you will strike his heel. So guys now talking to the woman he likened to you, Lady woman, you are going to bear pain from childbirth. Yes, I'm going to make it hurt. And let me tell you something about childbirth, and nothing pleasant about childbirth, kudos to the women that can have multiple children back to back like they Nuki a tight power to that opening up for a big giant watermelon, you know, total for those women. I had two beautiful children, six years apart from each other and both childbirth hurt, okay, they hurt like hell yes, they do. They are very severe. They're very painful. And I find that to be you know, it's a beautiful thing to give birth, but to go through the pregnancy and have kids, that is a painful thing that women do go through. And so being able to see it here in a Bible and recognize why he gave her such to severe pain is because she caused all the drama. So God like look, I'm going to give you some severe pain, you're going to be very painful during labor. When you have birth to children, your desires will be for your husband, and he will rule over you but a lot of women have a tendency of Lauren lowering theirselves for men not that we have to because we were placed exactly with Adam the same time Adam came through a place where man God made them he made him and her he made them so to talk about relationships I don't say ah you know, I don't know but that desire for woman to have the man rule over her you know just a manly figure and have that desire for that man to be masculine in our lives. It is a desire that women have you know, even though we bear men we birth men to have a man a masculine man really come in secure relationships occur in your life you know being you're protecting your shield women actually do want that while real women want that so yes, we do desire for that. So I do get this part right here for sure. I get the whole chapter honestly, it's a whole picture of how sin was created like God was like you know what, you you learn a lesson you learn a lesson and you learn your lesson so to Adam he said because you listen to your wife and you didn't have a money your own thing it it and you ate the fruit from the tree about which I commanded you. You must not eat from it parse is the ground because of you can painful toil you will eat food for me all the days of your life it will produce thorns and thistle for you and you will eat the plants of the field by the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground since from it you were taken for this you are incidence you are our return. Let me tell you something, a man that don't work, don't eat and that's just period God said it right here in this chapter you will through painful toll If you will eat food from it and toil means suffering it means like you want to do this for some time and you're not gonna like it it's like hard work is like suffering it's like we men people work suffering you're going to suffer to work you're not going to like it you're gonna have to grind basically and trust me a man who don't work don't eat and no woman don't want no broke nigga so you do the math how it all adds up. Okay period God laid it out with a blueprint he like man you gotta work you go and produce what you eat you gonna eat from it from does she wear made does she gonna go back to you're gonna work until the day you die type stuff. Wow, crazy. So Adam named his wife Eve because she will become the mother of all living the Lord God made garments of skin for him and his wife and clothe him now I don't know when he talked about garments of skin like God she made the whole skin form you know because we the skin is the biggest organ on the body like how did she make a skin skirt skin pants like come on board you skinned the body so it was they all muscle at first and they look alike you know, it's just I'm just wondering what God created you know Sam so the man has now become like one of us knowing good and evil he must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever so the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken they got kicked out the garden Adam got to work you got to work for which you survive and for you got to work to eat you are going to work from the grounds that to come from to supply for you and your lady because she gone very Oh children she's going to be a mother you're going to work for this and that's how you're gonna make it do what to do. And so he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden Chair of them chair boom is when I looked at it is like one of God's angels like one of God's right hand man, he basically paid said Chair of him right there was some flaming sores, basically like bro, you is not getting up in here. This is our guard, you are not coming back into the Garden of Eden you had got kicked out. And it just puts it in a same boat that both men and women are of equal. When God made them Adam and Eve, He made them a light when the woman got deceived by the serpent. She didn't think to ask no questions as well. Nor does she think about the commandment that God gave her she basically said, You know what, I'm going to believe the serpent not even believe the serpent but I'm going to trust the serpent and I'm going to eat from the tree because I want this wisdom that he talked about. If God Almighty it's like woman, you want it too much and you did too much because you had a maid now had you would have just been chilled and relaxed. And it just put things in perspective how women always doing too much won't in so much like enough is never enough. Like you had the whole garden of Eden girl. It wasn't enough for you that you had to eat from that one tree. And it just makes sense to me how women can never have enough it's so funny to me that I'm laughing right now because it's dawning on me like girl you really had a May you had a man in a garden you had every tree of life in the garden. You had everything and God asked you not to touch this one tree. He told job Oh, you're gonna have everything. This one tree right here. Don't don't eat from it. Don't touch it. That's the only thing that you have to do. And you disobey that. So yes, women were actually made like that. Thank you Eve for giving us that reputation of disobedience. Like women don't listen, you know, and the fact that she gave it to the man and he didn't even think to ask any questions like you just took the fruit and you ate it dummy. Like you're an idiot. Like you guys belong together. I see why men and women are so alike. It doesn't matter. You know, what's your background what sex you are men and women are of human form. We both make mistakes. We are both deceitful like we both can be deceived. There's no our equal of what a woman and a man is like we are human we are God's creation. And to origin sin is to say, you know, the first sin that was created when they dis obeyed God's first command. And his first commandment was to not eat from this one particular tree in the middle of the garden. And when I think about the commandments, and how many times have God has told me not to do something, he's like, you can have this you can do this and you can do that. But I don't want you to do this one particular thing and here I am think Given that I got it all figured out, and I'm like, Oh, let me see if I just can get away with it. You know, like what would happen if I do this, you know, and time after time God has to construct me and mold me into the person places and the things that he are trying, he's trying to take me to. So this chapter has really gave me the insight not only just about what took place to origin sin, but just overall about women and men, how they go one and one together, women and men are a great couple together, it makes sense. And not just women and men alike. If you choose to be men and men, that's your business woman and woman, that's your business. What I'm speaking of is human to human, it makes so much sense how they are together, regardless of what you choose to be with. I don't see I see it as a crime to be with the same sex Trust me, I will have a lot of backlash on that. But that's just my opinion. Men and women can date women and women could date. men and men could date however you choose to do. The thing is how we disobey God is what really matters to be constructed by God on allowing him to say, Look, you did this wrong, and I'm going to discipline you like this. What is our remark on that? What is how do we get back into action and falling in line with God? Forgiveness is the big key here. God was like, I forgive you guys for what you did. But you know, because of what you did. You guys got to get off the garden, you steal my kids, you steal my children, I'm still gonna supply for you. But you no longer welcome here. And the question that I have for myself as well as everybody else is, have you ever felt hemmed in our stiffled by one of God's commands? How have you responded to this feeling? A lot of times I can hear maybe the spirit, like you don't need to be in a relationship. You don't need to be in a situation. You don't need to go there. You don't need to do this. And I'm like, I'm going to do it anyway. You know? Like, it's like, you know, I don't want to listen to what God is telling me. And that's where discernment come in. It's like super big. And it's super huge on how we look at that. So and just allow God to use us. So yes, you guys that does wrap up for our class today.
